The MJCC is comprised of many top-notch facilities available to our members. From the wonderful fitness facility and spa-like rennovated locker rooms, to the beautiful, flexible space of our ballroom, to the MJCC SportsPlex with indoor soccer field, you'll find that there's a place for everyone at the MJCC. Cardio Fitness Center

Group Exercise Rooms
With such a wide variety of class offerings, the MJCC has expanded its available class space to accommodate the myriad of opportunities to get fit and have fun. Studio I is located downstairs, down the raquetball hallway and just outside the fitness center. It's wood floor, and large mirrored wall are perfect for those in our Zumba class. Studio II (The Schlachter Studio) is upstairs behind our large gymnasium, just one staircase away from Studio I. The thickly matted floors are great for cycling, boot camp, and personal training.
Dance Studio
The MJCC Dance Studio plays host to our wonderful Creative Ballet classes, Nia, and other movement related classes. It also hosts our drop-in child care during the week. The bright and airy space is just down the hall from the MJCC's main entrance.
Locker Rooms
Our locker rooms are spa-like in their atmosphere. Two Family locker rooms are available near the Main Pool entrance and are perfect for families with mixed genders, babies needing a changing table, or the ability to keep the family together in one place. Our lockers come with easy to use locks ready to be used with your own personal combination. Adults are welcome to take advantage of our relaxing Sauna, Steam Room, or Whirlpool. Or perhaps a little rest on the sofa is more your speed? Then enjoy the Schmooze room that is equipped with a flat screen TV to catch you up on the news or let you relax in front of your choice of cable shows.
Free towl service and available soap, shampoo and other toiletries, round out the spa-like amenities that are part of the MJCC locker rooms.
We have half Lockers available for rent for the low fee of $9/month or $108/year. Please call the font desk for details, 503.244.0111.
Racquetball Courts
The MJCC has three very popular Racquetball courts for free-play or tournament play. If you'd like to reserve a court, please call 503.244.0111. For casual play, the MJCC fitness center has some racquets and balls available for use on a first come, first served basis.
Sports
Sports have always been a big part of life at the MJCC. Whether it's a regular basketball game with your friends, a racquetball tournament, league soccer games, or gym hockey, the MJCC has a sports program ready for you. Sportsplex
Come see what's new in the MJCC Sportsplex! You'll find 22,000 square ft. of climate controlled indoor sports opportunities open to all ages and abilities. Our in-fill turf plays and feels like real grass for your next soccer match.
Aquatics
Here at the J we're lucky to have two wonderful pools that provide our members and guests with a wide variety of activities, lessons, and play time. Massage at the J
For a relaxing day at the J, it's not just the spa-like atmosphere of our locker rooms that will help to set the mood, we also have a wonderful spa room to offer our members and guests a variety of massage services to ease those muscles from your workout with your personal trainer, or simply from a week's worth of sitting in your office. To receive member rate child must be on family membership.

Club J (Ages 6-12)
Come join the MJCC’s staff in the pool for games and free swim then climb out and explore everything the J has to offer including soccer, basketball, racquetball, board games and more!

For All Child Care Programs
No registration required. Check in at Guest Services. Adult must remain in the building while child is in any of our childcare programs. Child may stay for a maximum of 2 hours per session. Please feel free to provide a peanut/nut-free snack for your child and remember that a parent or guardian must remain in the MJCC at all times while the kids are participating in any childcare program.
Cafe at the J
Portland's ONLY Kosher restaurant is the Cafe at the J, serving kosher dairy breakfasts, lunches and dinners and a once weekly meat dinner. Cafe at the J is owned and operated by Allen Levin and is under the supervision of Oregon K. Click here for more information about the cafe.
