This community event revolves around discussion of Israel at war. Participants will receive an email with a link to the recording of the presentation Melamed presented for North Shore JCC in Marblehead MA. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions related to this recorded material. Melamed will address these questions and provide further insight into the developments in Israel.
This interactive discussion will expand on the presentation Melamed gave live via Israel to the MJCC community last November. This is the perfect opportunity to meet him in person and get a copy of his book signed. Those interested in purchasing "Inside the Middle East | Entering A New Era" can do so by following this link.

Portland Jewish Academy & Mittleman Jewish Community Center’s March Donation Drive
In the spirit of the Purim tradition of Matanot L’evyonim—giving gifts to those in need—we are collecting new sleeping pillows and new/gently used pots and pans for Community Warehouse.
PJA and the MJCC are proud supporters of Community Warehouse which provides donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort and dignity of a furnished home while overcoming adversity. The Amos Hoffman and Noam Lemish Quartet - March 17
The Amos Hoffman and Noam Lemish Quartet, which offers an inspired blend of jazz and Jewish folk melodies, will be performing in the MJCC's Stern Family Ballroom. Amos Hoffman is an Israeli Jazz Oudist and Guitarist and Noam Lemish is an Israeli-American jazz pianist and composer currently based out of Toronto, Canada.
