Our wellness programs require advanced registration. If a minimum participation is not met 24 hours prior to the class, the class may be canceled. Dance for Parkinson’s Disease
Dance for Parkinson’s Oregon offers dance classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners. Participants stretch and strengthen muscles, focusing on balance and rhythm through many styles of dance and music.

Safe Falling with Intelligence + Style - cancelled
Gaining strength and balance to reduce the likelihood of falling is the goal, but what do you do if you take a misstep and go down? Talk to stunt pros, parachute users, and martial arts instructors and you will learn that there is indeed a “correct” way to fall. Learn how to minimize the damage from what is the most common source of injury in emergency rooms across the nation, regardless of age.

Week 7 - 12: Mindfulness and Meditation  
Techniques to calm the nervous system and mind anxiety. Insomnia, panic, restlessness, overreacting to stressors, and digestion issues can all be symptoms of a nervous system in overdrive. Each of these sessions will focus on a mindfulness technique to restore the nervous system to a place where you can rest and digest and the mind can relax. These workshops will focus on our senses.

Experience breathing as an internal sensory experience. Turn our sensory experience inwards.
