Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation and Healing
Asanas (poses) in Restorative Yoga are held for longer durations, using props to support the body. This practice emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga through which we can find harmony, healing, and a relief from emotional and physical pain.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation to draw our attention inward, where we move between the states of wakefulness and dynamic sleep. Our body finds its neutral state of equilibrium (homeostasis) and
unconscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves to an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
Please bring a firm pillow.

Dance for Parkinson's
Dance for Parkinson's Oregon, an affiliate of the international Dance for PD Network, now has a seated dance class on Zoom every Sunday at 2 pm PST.
In Dance for PD® classes, participants are empowered to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, stimulating and creative. Evidence from 38 peer-reviewed scientific studies serves to underpin the effectiveness and benefits of the Dance for PD teaching practice.
· No previous dance experience needed!
· The seated classes are 40 minutes in length and will be held online every Saturday at 2:00 pm PST.
· Sliding scale. The suggested donation for class is $10-$15. No fee for caregivers.

Our wellness programs require advanced registration. If a minimum participation is not met 24 hours prior to the class, the class may be canceled.
