Spring Afterschool Classes for Preschool - Ages 3 - 6 years
Multi Sport
Introduce your young athlete to a variety of different sports in one setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of baseball, dodgeball and ultimate frisbee through skill-based games and scrimmages. Your child will wak away with knowledge of multiple sports, along with vital life lessons such as repect, teamwork, and self-discipline.

Indoor Playground
Play in our climate-controlled Sportsplex! Toys and equipment available, including a trampoline and gymnastics equipment. Adult must remain in the Sportsplex.

Beginners start their soccer career here, learning basic dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques.

Creative movement class introduces students to beginning ballet, jazz, and contemporary moves combined with creative movement and dance activities. Class enhances balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility.

Intro to Movement 2 (Ages 8-12)
For students age 8-12, this class offers more complex movement patterns, steps, and musicality while continuing to explore the basics of beginning ballet, jazz, and contemporary introduced in level 1. More Information
For Preschool Classes:
MJCC can escort your preschool-aged child from PJA to their after-school classes and back to their PJA classroom after their afterschool class has ended.
For Youth Classes:
PJA can escort your school-aged child from PJA to their MJCC afterschool classes, at no additional charge. Your student must be picked up at the end of class.
Kidscorner
Kidscorner students can be transferred to an afterschool MJCC class at 3:30 pm and be transferred to Kidscorner after the class.
Kidscorner Students Enrolled in Aquatics
Kidscorner students enrolled in swim lessons can be transferred to the lesson but MJCC will not provide transportation back to Kidscorner.

Step 2: Sign up for MJCC Youth Programs Transport
- Preschool and Kidscorner Students
Register for Transport Via Daxko AND fill out the Transport Form - PJA One-Way Transfer (must be picked up by a parent/guardian)
Fill out the Transport Form. There is no fee for PJA staff One-Way Transport.
Step 3: Fill out the appropriate PJA release form below.

For Swim Families- Steps 2 + 3 need to be filled out each month! Look out for a reminder email to complete these steps again.

Youth Programs Q&A
Drop-In Childcare
How long can my child stay in Drop-In Childcare?
We have a two hour time limit to accommodate as many families as we can. When that two hour mark passes, we will give you a call to come pick up, so keep your phone close!
Do the Childcare Attendants do diaper changes?
No! While there are no potty training rules, our Attendants will not change any diapers. If it seems like a change is needed, we will give you a call, so keep your phone close!
Should I sign up for the Monthly Unlimited Childcare?
Yes! If you are a member and bring your child to Drop-In on a regular basis, the Monthly Unlimited would be the best option for your family!
Transport
What is Transport?
Transport is a program offered by the Youth Programs department where our staff will take your student to Youth Programs classes and swimming lessons. We are able to pick up from PJA Preschool or PJA Kidcorner. For one-way transport for PJA students right after school, there is no charge, but forms needs to be filled out.
How much does Transport cost?
Transport costs $10 per class and is presented as an additional fee when registering. This is to accommodate for staffing costs. There is no cost for one-way transfer right after school.
How late is Transport offered?
We are able to transport for classes or programs that start by 5:00 pm.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program, general policy regarding class cancellation is as follows:
• Cancellation made at least 6 days
before class start date: full refund
• Cancellation within 5 days of the first
day of class: no refund
Class Registration Deadline
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program, registration for all classes closes the Wednesday before the first class. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Enrollment FAQs
• You may register online or in person at
the Welcome Desk.
• Payment must be provided at time of
registration to guarantee a spot.
• If participants miss a class, they are
not allowed to drop into other classes. If a class or program is cancelled due to inclement weather or other cause, we are unable to schedule make-up sessions or provide refunds.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather or other outside circumstances that may impact the MJCC’s normal operations, members will be notified of any changes to normally scheduled activities via email. Closures, delayed start times or limited services are also posted on the website. There will not be a refund if classes or events are canceled in the event of extreme weather or other circumstances outside of our control.
