Our Camps

All campers will have the opportunity to play outside, explore their creativity through art and enrichment activities with our New STEAM Coordinator, jump and play in the Sportsplex (Bubble), and participate in weekly Jewish enrichment and Friday Shabbat celebrations.

Each camp group has its own special twist - check out the details below!
Campers should register for the grade they are rising into for fall 2026.
Please note: Campers must be fully potty-trained (no diapers or pull-ups).

Camps By Age

Sababa (ages 3 - 4)

Half-Day: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Sababa Camp is the perfect first step into the world of summer fun! Designed especially for preschoolers, campers build confidence, practice teamwork, and learn new routines through hands-on play, art, music, and outdoor adventures. Sababa campers enjoy the comfort of our exclusive PJA Early Childhood classrooms, perfectly suited to their age and needs.

Simcha (Rising Kindergarten)

Kehila (Rising 1st - 2nd Grade)

Ruach (Rising 3rd - 4th Grade)

Ruach: Rising 3rd - 4th Grade
Full-Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Ruach means “spirit,” and this group truly embodies it! Tailored for curious and energetic campers, Ruach encourages teamwork, creativity, and independence. Whether they’re crafting, playing sports, or collaborating on group projects, campers in Ruach have space to express themselves and grow. Often combining into one big group, it’s all about community and connection.

Kef (Rising 5th - 6th grade)

Full-Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Kef means “fun” and that’s exactly what this group delivers! For our adventurous older campers, Kef offers a balance of structured activities and camper-led experiences that inspire leadership and independence.

Exclusive to Kef:
We take the fun off-site with weekly field trips (included in the cost)!

CiT (Rising 7th - 9th grade)

Cit: Counselors in Training Rising 7th - 9th Grade
Full-Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Our CiT program is the perfect blend of leadership and play! Teens gain valuable skills by shadowing counselors, assisting campers, and taking part in leadership sessions led by the CiT Unit Head. CiTs serve as role models, help with activities, and enjoy their own fun, with daily swimming and weekly field trips.

Kick-Off week + Encore WEEK
Ages 5 - 12
Full-Day: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
New this summer! Extend the fun before and after Camp with our Kick-Off and Encore Weeks. These weeks offer a high-energy mix of sports, gymnastics, arts and crafts, games, and daily swimming all led by our amazing camp counselors.
Please note: These weeks have extended hours which are included in the cost.

Our summer camp is a place where values are taught, community is developed, and friendships and memories are made. Our mission is to provide a successful camp experience for campers with various needs and backgrounds. MJCC Day Camp is a high sensory experience, and our days are filled with lots of activities and lots of transitions.

If your camper has experienced challenges with quick transitions, loud environments, busy classrooms, or anything of the sort, please reach out to the Day Camp Director directly at hregnier@oregonjcc.org for more information. We appreciate clear communication and understanding during this process regarding any decisions made, as our goal is to provide a successful camp experience for everyone.

Calm Spaces

Our Calm Space is a dedicated room for campers who may need time and space away from their group. Campers may come and go from this space as needed. If a camper ever feels overwhelmed, overstimulated, or just needs some alone time, this space will have sensory friendly games and counselors available to support them. Each camp room will also have a “quiet corner” which campers can utilize whenever they need.

If you believe your child may need frequent access to this space, please note this in your camper’s health form and inform staff of any specific details regarding your camper’s needs.
